If you have tests done at the surgery it can take several days before your test results to come back from the hospital. X-ray results will take a least 7 days before they are available.
On occasions it may not always be possible to give results over the phone and an appointment will need to be made to see the doctor or nurse – should this be the case you will be offered a suitable appointment. Please note in the interests of confidentiality, results are only given to the person who has had the test.
If you need to contact us about your test results, please telephone the surgery after 2 pm in the afternoon; to avoid busy surgey periods when patients are booking appointments.
