Translation/Interpreter Services

If you are a patient who cannot speak English the interpreter service can help. We have a notice in our reception which is a flag system to help identify which language you need a translator for. Arrangements can then be made with the service provider through the surgery.

Interpretor Services are available at the practice. Should you need an interpreter, please ask at the reception for further details. Non NHS Services

The practice does offer some private services, where fees are payable – this may be private letters or HGV medicals etc – fees and services are shown under the Health Information section of the website.

Travel Health

You can obtain help & advice from our practice nurses for any travel vaccinations you may require. We are able to offer some travel vaccines but subject to destinations being travelled to you may be referred to a specialist travel clinic. Please give us a much notice as you can before you travel as many vaccines need to be administered well in advance of your travel.

Chronic Disease Management

We manage all types of illnesses from , chronic heart disease, diabetes, asthma/copd and many more. Please contact the surgery for further details.

New Patient Health Checks

We undertake new patient health checks when we take on new patients. You will be invited to have an health checks on registration. Health checks can also be requested if you have not been seen by a doctor or nurse for over 3 years – please ask at the reception. 

Flu Clinics

Time: Special Clinics between Sept/Oct each year

We run flu clinics every year in October – if you over 65 or in a risk group we will invite you to the surgery for a flu injection. Children in certain age groups are also eligible for a flu injection. If you think you or your child may qualify for the flu vaccination, please contact the surgery.

Cervical Smear
